Sappiamo tutti che è stato un'anno terribile da ogni prospettiva. Non ha senso fingere che non lo sia cercando di sorvolare con un po' di allegria natalizia.

Detto questo, a volte abbiamo tutti bisogno di una pausa dalle continue cattive notizie che riceviamo dalla stampa. Il Speak Christmas Quiz di quest'anno è ispirato da Cristina Mattioli, che gestisce il Feeling Bar a Ponte Galeria a Roma, che ha recentemente dichiarato che il suo bar era ora una zona "No Covid chat" e ha insistito sul fatto che la sua clientela parlasse di qualsiasi altra cosa. Calcio? Politica? Arte? Tutto bene, purché non menzioni la parola con la "C"!.

Con questo in mente, abbiamo pensato al nostro quiz di Natale, per il quarto anno consecutivo, con un po' di differenza. È uno sguardo indietro ad alcune delle notizie del 2020 che potresti aver perso, senza alcuna menzione di virus, pandemie o maschere facciali. Non è stato facile. Ma si spera che tu abbia seguito alcune delle altre cose che sono accadute durante questi anni così difficili e sarai in grado di rispondere almeno ad alcuni dei nostri teaser.

Le regole sono le stesse di sempre:

• Il quiz è in inglese e deve essere giocato in inglese quanto più possibile! Le domande sono di difficoltà linguistica e culturale variabile.

• Vietato barare, non è nello spirito natalizio! Quindi non pensate di chiedere l’aiuto di Mr. Google! Mettete via i cellulari e usate solo la forza delle vostre menti!

• L’ideale sarebbe giocare in gruppi di 2 o 3 persone ed un Quiz Master che, secondo la tradizione, deve recitare la parte di chi prende il quiz molto seriamente e indossare indumenti o accessori stravaganti. Inoltre ogni team deve avere un proprio nome. È fondamentale!

• In caso di disputa, la decisione finale spetta al Quiz Master.
