Villa Borghi

Location

Hotel Villa Borghi is a historic Art Nouveau villa in the small town of Varano Borghi. Surrounded by a large 6-hectare park near the eastern shore of Lake Comabbio, it is around one hour west of Milan. 

Local Culture

The Villa was once inhabited by the Borghi family and the sumptuous building underwent a fine restoration in the nineteenth century which gave it the graceful lines, typical of Art Nouveau.

Facilities

Villa Borghi is made up of a historical villa and modern accomodation area with stylish en-suite rooms, a restaurant and bar, social spaces, extensive gardens, a spa and outdoor swimming poool (seasonal).

The modern rooms in the separate accommodation area are all en-suite and provide all the comforts one could expect from a hotel of this standard including flatscreen TV, complimentary toiletries, minibar and safe.

Dining

Villa Borghi offers an incredible opportunity to sample the local cuisine. The talented catering team offer tempting dishes using the best of local ingredients, paired with some of the region’s best wines.

Outdoor Spaces

The hotel is surrounded by a finely kept park of 65,000m2, full of historic, in some cases rare, plants. The garden offers a network of paths and relaxing spaces to enjoy the beautiful landscape and view down to the lake.

• Anglos are invited to a Welcome Aperitif in central Milan on the evening prior to Programme for a chance to meet the other Anglos.

• The next morning, the Programme begins with a Welcome Breakfast, together with the Italian participants at the Meeting Point before taking a private transfer together to the location where the Programme begins.

• On the final afternoon of the Programme, all participants will depart together on our private transfer, returning to the Departure Point in central Milan in the early evening.
