Location

Dating from 1580 on a brief from Pope Gregory XIII, the hotel is located just outside Frascati, a historic town around 20km south-east of Rome on the Alban hills and close to the ancient city of Tusculum.

Local culture

Frascati dates back to ancient Roman times but is most famous for its 12 noble villas, including Villa Grazioli, built from the 16th century onwards by Popes, cardinals and Roman nobles as "status symbols" of Roman aristocracy.

The hotel, renowned for its incredible original frescoes by Ciampelli and Pannini, spoils guests with its lush gardens and terrace overlooking Rome, a panoramic swimming pool, restaurant, bar and numerous stylish lounges.

In the elegant dining spaces of Villa Grazioli, the catering team propose traditional local dishes as well as national and international recipes and the best of local wines. The team are able to cater for guests with special dietary needs.

The location boasts extensive gardens and spaces to sit, take in the stunning view and enjoy a coffee or a drink during your one-to-one sessions. The nearby Tuscolo Archeological Park provides rich woodland to explore.

Arrival and Departure

  • Anglos are invited to a Welcome Aperitif in central Rome on the evening prior to Programme for a chance to meet the other Anglos.

  • The next morning, the Programme begins with a Welcome Breakfast, together with the Italian participants at the Meeting Point before taking a private transfer together to the location where the Programme begins.

  • On the final afternoon of the Programme, all participants will depart together on our private transfer, returning to the Departure Point in central Rome in the early evening.
