Local Culture
The extended area in eastern Lombardy between Milan and Bergamo is known as the "Martesana" and is famous for its production of meats and cheeses, especially gorgonzola, dishes such as polenta and DOC wines such as Valcalepio.

Anglos are invited to an orientation dinner in central Milan on the evening prior to Programme for a chance to meet the other Anglos.
The next morning, the Programme begins with a welcome breakfast, together with the Italian participants at the Meeting Point before taking a private transfer together to the location where the Programme begins.
On thefinal afternoonof the Programme, all participants willdepart together on our private transfer, returning to theDeparture Pointin centralMilan in the early evening.
