Speak was created by a team of experts with many years of experience in residential language education. We first collaborated on residential summer schools in 2006 in the UK, creating and developing an international summer school specifically focused on hosting English learners from all over the world. The schools were based on several principles: language excellence, as broad an international mix as possible and an incredible summer experience. The schools went from strength to strength and, by 2014, we managed 7 of the most prestigious summer schools in the UK, including in Oxford and Cambridge, welcoming more than 1000 English learners from over 100 different countries.

All of our Speak Programme staff have previously worked as Directors in international summer schools and have many years of experience of language training and managing tailor-made language programmes, inspiring learners to improve their English and engage in an experience that they will never forget.
