What makes Speak Teens different
Speak Teens is not a summer school. It is a full-immersion residential experience where English is the language of every conversation, every activity and every meal.
The 1:1 ratio between students and native English speakers - Teen Anglos and Speak staff combined - means there is always a native speaker beside every student. From the first morning to the last evening, the English Bubble is total.
Founded in 2018, the camp takes place at Centro Turistico Valbonella, Bagno di Romagna, in the heart of the Casentino Forest National Park - a stunning venue reserved exclusively for Speak Teens for the duration of each camp.
What a day at camp looks like
No two days are the same - but English runs through every one of them.
Breakfast together - in English
The day opens at the table. Conversations in English start before the coffee.
Outdoor TEFL lesson
Small-group lessons in the open air, focused on communicative skills, organised by age and level with qualified native-speaking TEFL teachers.
One-to-One session
A dedicated session with a Teen Anglo - just the two of them, no audience, no pressure. The Anglo rotates daily, so students hear a new accent every day.
Lunch and free time
Meals are shared with the Anglos. Conversations keep going naturally, in English, without anyone noticing.
Afternoon activity
Sport, team challenges, workshops, trekking - always organised and shared with Teen Anglos.
Phone time
Phones are returned for one hour. Students catch up with home, then hand them back for the evening.
Dinner and evening activity
Themed evenings, games, talent shows, debates - English all the way to bedtime.

Plus: trekking, Walk with Wolves and the optional Cambridge English Skills Test at the end of camp.

A native-speaking companion for every moment of the day
Teen Anglos are carefully selected native-speaking teenagers aged 13 to 17, from the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada and Australia. They are the heart of the camp.
From breakfast to the evening activity, every student shares their day with Teen Anglos - sitting together at meals, taking part in activities and excursions as a group, and connecting one-to-one in dedicated daily sessions.
