Discover an English-speaking world with mother-tongue Teen Anglos of the same age at Valbonella, set in the stunning natural surroundings of the Foreste Casentinesi national park in Emilia-Romagna.
On our English Discovery programme there are an equal number of native English speakers and Learners enabling maximum exposure and engagement with English in natural and real contexts.
Our Learners and Anglos will share a diverse and vibrant programme including:

English Immersion
1-to-1 Sessions
Speak offers natural learning in outdoor settings with native English speakers from USA, UK, Canada and Ireland. In their 1-to-1 sessions, Learners can put their English into practice through meaningful conversation with teens their own age. The 1-to-1 sessions introduce Learners to new language, vocabulary, phrases and idioms through icebreaker games, storytelling activities and photo challenges.
Teen Anglos
Our Anglos are native English-speaking teens aged 12-16 who want to help Learners develop their language skills. The role of the Teen Anglo is to bring English to life by exposing our Learners to a range of English accents through natural conversation. Whether it's playing volleyball, chatting over a meal or simply enjoying the Italian sunshine, Anglos and Learners will share a unique camp experience all in English.
Trinity Certification
For Learners interested in receiving a formal assessment of their level, we provide the option of sitting the Trinity GESE exam. This exam tests English-language learners’ listening and speaking skills, specifically the ability to engage in natural conversation on a range of topics. Learners are given opportunities to prepare throughout the week with the Anglos and qualified ESL Teachers.
English Discovery
Learners and Anglos will have fun together throughout the camp - all in English! Speak Teens means creative projects such as theatre, photography and Scottish dancing, sports, themed evenings like outdoor cinema, astronomy night or our Welcome Disco. There is always so much going on! Teens will go trekking in the nearby forest, swimming onsite and even on a day trip to the Mirabilandia them park!
