Location

Perched above the medieval town of Costigliole Saluzzo, near Cuneo in Piemonte, Castello Rosso is one of the Historic Hotels of Europe. The Castle overlooks the medieval town on one side and vineyards climbing the lower Alps on other.

Local Culture

In the heart of the Piemonte region, famous for its production of gianduiotti, a special kind of praline, and fine DOC wines, the Castello conserves many original features recalling the medieval heritage of the region.

Facility

Built on the ruins of the ancient Castello dei Costanzia, the existing castle was completed in 1625. The venue boasts a spa, relaxing lounges with open fireplaces, a swimming pool, a ballroom and the Tisaneria bar

Although an ancient building, the Castello offers a range of modern comforts; its unique style combines the original architecture and frescos together with modern facilties and comforts. All rooms are en-suite and offer complimentary toiletries.

Arrival and Departure

  • Anglos are invited to an orientation aperitif in central Turin on the evening prior to Programme for a chance to meet the other Anglos.

  • The next morning, the Programme begins with a welcome breakfast, together with the Italian participants at the Meeting Point before taking a transfer together to the venue in time for check-in and lunch.

  • On the final morning of the Programme, all participants will have lunch before departing together, returning to the Departure Point in Turin in the late afternoon.
