Everything you need to know about arriving at and departing from the camp — your Welcome Club meeting point, coach transfers, flight guidance and unaccompanied minor arrangements.
Your starting point
The camp begins and ends at our Welcome Club at the Amadeus Hotel, near Bologna Airport. All Teen Anglos travel to and from Valbonella with Speak’s private coach transfer — there’s no need to arrange your own way to the camp itself.

Arrive at the Welcome Club between 09:00 and 15:00. The last coach leaves at 15:00.
Teen Anglos return to Bologna by private coach. Families collecting from the Welcome Club should arrive between 12:00 and 14:00.
✈️ Flying in? Do not book a flight landing later than 14:00 on arrival day, or departing earlier than 15:00 on departure day.
Getting to Bologna
Teen Anglos can travel to Bologna by air, rail, bus or car.
Speak staff will meet Teen Anglos in the Arrivals hall and accompany them to the Welcome Club via our free shuttle (around 5 minutes).
Bologna Centrale has high-speed links from Rome, Milan, Florence and beyond. From the station, the Welcome Club can be reached by local train, bus (tper.it) or taxi (approx. €15).
Several companies connect Bologna with other Italian cities. Once at Bologna Centrale, reach the Welcome Club by local train, bus or taxi.
The Amadeus Hotel is in the Borgo Panigale neighbourhood near Bologna Airport. Free parking is available on site.
Additional services
If your flight falls outside Welcome Club hours, we offer an Overnight Stay Service at €120. This includes hotel accommodation, all meals, airport transfers and supervision by Speak staff.
Any Teen Anglo travelling to Bologna without a parent or guardian is considered an Unaccompanied Minor (UM) by Speak. Speak provides a full Meet & Greet service. The UM service is included in the €350 admin fee. Advance notice is required. Contact us: teenanglos@speakinitaly.com
